INL Construction Ltd –
Environmental & Carbon Reduction Policy Statement
Company Name: INL Construction Ltd (Trading as INL Bathrooms)
Registered Company Number: 13526267
Effective Date: 13 July 2026
1. Our Commitment to Net Zero by 2030
INL Construction Ltd is fully committed to reducing its environmental impact and achieving Carbon Net Zero across all operations by 2030. We recognize that construction activities contribute significantly to carbon emissions, and we pledge to work in full alignment with the Suffolk County Council Climate Change Commercial Ask.
2. Carbon & Emission Management
To actively track and reduce our carbon footprint, we measure our emissions using the Carbon Footprint UK Business Calculator alongside the Supply Chain Sustainability School tools. Our primary target areas include:
Transport & Fleet: Transitioning our corporate and crew transit vehicles to electric or low-emission alternatives and optimizing logistics to reduce site mileage.
Energy Efficiency: Implementing energy-saving protocols across our office base and utilizing temporary solar or high-efficiency power tools on active worksites wherever feasible.
3. Sustainable Procurement & Material Sourcing
We are dedicated to sustainable building practices by integrating environmental criteria into our supply chain:
Prioritizing local merchants and suppliers within a tight radius of our active London and Essex projects to minimize transport emissions.
Selecting sustainably sourced raw timber (FSC certified) and energy-efficient building fixtures.
Promoting the use of low-impact, durable materials, such as modern silicone and insulated exterior rendering systems.
4. Waste Management & Site Operations
We strictly enforce a policy of reducing, reusing, and recycling site materials to minimize landfill dependency:
Segregating construction waste (including masonry, timber, and packaging) on-site to maintain a target of over 90% waste diversion from landfill.
Preventing local pollution by training all site personnel and subcontractors on strict chemical storage and spill control measures, particularly during bathroom and wet room strip-outs.
5. Review and Accountability
This policy is reviewed annually by corporate management to ensure continuous improvement in our environmental performance and full compliance with evolving UK public procurement sustainability laws.
